Welcome to the Society for Rusyn Evolution submission page. Our goal in the introduction of the SRE op-ed section is to help develop the minds of up-and-coming leaders in the international Rusyn world. In this thought, in can be said that we are interested in publishing all areas of intellectual ambitions, ranging from artistic creativity to geopolitics. Guest submissions are allowed in our monthly schedule at the discretion of our editors.
For almost all tabs and pages on this website (except for articles) you will find both English text and its Rusyn equivalent. This was done to make our organization accessible to promising people from different circumstances. We allow all registered ethnic Rusyn users to comment unless they break the website’s guidelines. Those found out to not be so will be removed immediately unless they have a deep connection in some way to the Rusyn world.
Q: Do you publish all submitted works?
A: While we won’t state the exact percentage of articles we accept; it is usually below half of all submitted works. Selection for publication is up to the discretion of our editor team.
Q: Can I resubmit rejected articles and stories?
A: Generally articles that receive only a rejection email without any suggestion of resubmission will not be taken into consideration.
Q: How many times can I get published?
A: Authors are limited to being selected once a month, though this is very rare to happen without a formal offer to be a columnist.
Q: How much do you pay for chosen submissions?
A: $25 USD for Op-eds
Q: How do you pay authors for their articles?
A: We use PayPal and Western Union to pay authors.
Q: Are you funded by the Russian or Hungarian government?
A: No we are an independent organization. If we do receive donations above $35,000 they will be placed on our mission page for sake of transparency.
Q: When do you accept submissions?
A: Submissions are open on a revolving basis. Those submitted during the second half of a given month will usually be published later than those submitted earlier.
Q: Do you have to be Rusyn to be accepted?
A: You are eligible for being selected if you have at least one biological great-grandparent of Rusyn ethnicity, adopted by Rusyn parents, or are married to someone of Rusyn heritage.
Q: How do I send submissions to SRE?
A: Both editors have different styles for accepting submissions. Check out below for more information.

– Гонорар є 25$ USD за статі-коментарі
Як платите авторум за матеріалы?
– Гонорары платиме через PayPal и WU.

– Ньит, єсьме независима орґанізація. Кідь даколи дустанеме жертвованя над 35 000$, та нараз даме інформацію на сторунку “за нас” за прозначность.
Коли ся принимавут матеріалы?
– Принимают ся фурт. Кам май скоро буде поданый матеріал, тым скорше годен быти приятый и опубликованый (у булшині трафунку).
Ци треба быти Русином, жебы загнати матеріал?
– Матеріалы ся принимают од автору, што сут Русинами по роду (хоть єден прапрародич), выросли в русиньскуй родині, авадь прилучили ся до русиньской родины через мужа або жону.
Як загнати матеріал до ОРР?
– Залежит од того, котрому редакторови го заганяєте. Булше інформації найдете долу.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
- Send to [email protected] with the title of your article in the subject line followed by your name. (Example: “We need to work together” – Starik Pollock). Please follow these rules for the sake of helping organization on our part. We cannot guarantee they will be looked at otherwise.
- Include a brief 4-5 sentence summary at the beginning of your email, as well as why you think your article should be chosen.
- Attach your article to the email by either .docx or .pdf. Any other file format will not be considered.
- State in your email that if your article is chosen it will remain exclusive to SRE for 24 months. After 24 months you are free to publish it elsewhere.
If selected you will receive an email asking if you are sure you want your work published. You will have 48 hours from the time of the email to respond yes or no. Answering yes also gives us permission to make minor grammatical changes or fix spelling mistakes.

- Долучте матеріал до писма ги документ формата .doc, .docx авадь .pdf
Кідь матеріал буде выбраный, напишеме вам, жебы сьте пудтвердили публикацію роботы. У сякум трафунку мусите пудтвердити свою участь май пузно через 48 годин. Пудтвердженьом участи даєте соглас на друбні ґраматичні зміны ци орфоґрафічні поправкы.
