A historical work dealing with the initial settlement of Subcarpathian Rus as well as its socioeconomic development throughout the 16th and 17th centuries. The full text also includes criticism of the then Czechoslovak administration in the region. Among with other works by Antonij Hodynka (1864-1946), it is now seen as an important precursor for the modern Carpatho-Rusyn literary language.
The same text was later translated into Hungarian, English and French. This facsimile edition includes the author’s brief paleographical article written in Carpatho-Rusyn.
