A detailed overview of the prehistoric era in the Upper Tysa region from its settlement ca. 1 mln. years ago until the Early Middle Ages and the Hungarian conquest. The Thracians and Dacians were the dominant population in the region up until the Migration Period, when they are followed by early Slavic settlers.
