The Subcarpathian Scholarly Society’s first published work. The grammar was in wide use in Subcarpathian wartime publications. Although it did not represent a substantial shift in favor of vernacular Rusyn, it had a notable influence on the Rusyn movement due to its exclusivity — among other examples, it was proposed as a basis for the Rusyn literary language after 1989.
