A reference book containing short biographies for 625 of the 663 delegates to the 1944 Mukachevo Congress of People’s Committees of Transcarpathian Ukraine, which approved the manifesto calling for “reunification” with Soviet Ukraine.
The work briefly refers to details that were never disclosed in Soviet historiography. A number of delegates were erased from history due to their political background before the Soviet annexation. 27 delegates would later become victims of Soviet repression. In Velykŷj Bereznŷj and Perečyn districts, former Czechoslovak Army soldiers mounted resistance to the annexation.
