Jan Virostko joins the SRE podcast to talk about his latest articles on the economic issues with sovereignty and the Lemko-Rusyn Republic.

Jan is a first-generation Slovak/Rusyn American. His main interests include Rusyn history, Rusyn ethnogenesis, and European geopolitics.

Since 1991 there have been no pushes for political power or autonomy within any of the historical Rusyn regions. Why this is the case is a complex subject to discuss, however, what the new generations can agree on is that there needs to be a change.
